More about my workshop
I will be conducting the workshop called “Flannel Board Fun”. Spend time with me as I tell a favorite story, “The Little Red Hen”, using flannel board cut outs.
The children will be given the opportunity to use their 5 senses while doing related activities such as:
- Smelling and tasting various breads
- Feeling and seeing various seeds and planting their favorite
- Listening to the story of The Little Red Hen
FREE Game Give Away!
There will be lots of take home items from my workshop which include a copyrighted game made by me called “Going to the Mill”. I developed this game for preschoolers when I was working at a Montessori learning center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Each game board is pieced and quilted together to make this simple guessing game. Since there is no reading or counting involved, it is appropriate for the youngest child. “Going to the Mill” is a fantastic social activity for 2 children.
